Prisons Outreach Program
Systematic legal representation, bail assistance, case review for wrongful detention.
The Story
The 2015 Prisons Outreach Program represented a maturation of KUTH Foundation's correctional engagement. Building on the 2012 and 2013 interventions, the program now included systematic legal representation, bail assistance, and case review for inmates who had been detained beyond lawful periods or wrongfully accused. Led by legal aid professionals, the outreach also provided rights education, family tracing, and post-release documentation support.
