Back to School for Prison Inmates — GCE & JAMB
100+ prison inmates sponsored for GCE and JAMB examinations. Education as a pathway to redemption.
The Story
In a groundbreaking initiative in 2013, KUTH Foundation sponsored GCE and JAMB examination forms for over 100 prison inmates across Lagos correctional facilities. Recognizing that education is a pathway to redemption and reintegration, the program enabled incarcerated persons to sit for secondary school certificate examinations and university entrance exams while serving their sentences.
