Widowhood or widowerhood is not by choice, it's simply an affirmation that we are all mortal beings subject to die at a time only known to our creator. Every year since 2011, KUTH Foundation has always made it a point of duty to share love with widows and widowers, especially during this season.

St. Augustine Catholic Chaplaincy Outreach

This year, we commenced our outreach to widows and widowers and our first point of call was St. Augustine Catholic Chaplaincy, Akoka, Yaba Lagos. The event brought together dozens of widows and widowers who were presented with care packages containing essential food items and household supplies.

A Message of Hope

In a goodwill message delivered by the Executive Director Programs, Prince Francis Chilaka, on behalf of the Principal Promoter, Mr. Gerald Azonobo, he urged the widows and widowers not to see their present state as their fault, but to know that life and death belongs solely to God.

Gratitude and Prayers

The beneficiaries were all grateful and prayed for the Principal Promoter, the Executive Director Programs and the entire staff of the Foundation. Their joy was evident as they received the KUTH Foundation branded care packages filled with essential items.

Since 2011, KUTH Foundation has been consistently reaching out to widows and widowers, providing not just material support but also emotional encouragement and a sense of community. This annual tradition has touched hundreds of lives and continues to embody the foundation's mission of “Touching lives in different ways, while keeping hope alive.”
